A Short Camping Trip

With the weather set fine for a few days, we packed up the car for our first trip out in the tent this year. We're not far from the edge of the Peak District, so we're hoping to do a few of these trips when we get a clear spell. This one was just a couple of nights at a nice campsite not far from Leek. We picked up a great picnic from the fabby Italian deli in Leek. The site itself was a little too close to the road between Leek and Buxton for us - a bit too much traffic noise, but there was lots of space for the boys and we were within striking distance of beautiful walking country.

Lots of wild flowers out in the woodland particularly, some lovely Cuckoo Flower or Lady-smocks, the picture at the top of this post, and the woods were carpeted with wood anenome:

Lovely to get away and have a bit of space.
