Testing testing

As another brew day looms (Burton Bridge Bitter recipe to try next Tuesday - should be ready for Christmas!), it was time to try the Castle Eden Ale clone to see how it's doing. It's about a week or 10 days before it's officially ready, but already it tastes really nice. Clean and hoppy with a nice long finish. The first pint or so always seems to be a little bit cloudy and then crystal clear after that, so I'd expect it to clear up after I've drawn off a bit more.

It gets harder to wait for it to be ready once you know that the stuff tastes good...

Busy time brew-wise. The Black Bat clone is just coming to an end now. The Castle Eden is nearly ready - and the Gales Horndean recipe will be another 10 days in the keg before I'm ready to have a go at bottling it.
