Another cold day here today, with yesterday's snow still lingering at lunchtime. My mum told me that apparently it's the first snowfall in this part of the country at this time of year since 1934. Our boys are now convinced that it's winter rather than autumn, no matter how much we try to convince them otherwise.
Today started with some lovely blue skies and sunshine, so I tried to take a snap with winter in the foreground and autumn in the background! So the photo above I took just after making sure that our bird feeders were filled up and there was some non-frozen water for them. Brrrr.
